Expedia TAAP

Agents can register for an Expedia TAAP account by using this link. Click “Create Account” and fill-in the required fields. Agents will need to login to their account in order to book and receive commission.

**Do NOT use Travel Planners within Expedia TAAP to make group bookings. Travel Planners is not supported by Expedia TAAP and our TAAP representative has encouraged us to not use Travel Planners. You will most likely experience a problem and not be able to get any assistance in getting the issue resolved. You can book up to 8 rooms at a time in Expedia TAAP and that is recommended for booking groups**

Expedia TAAP commissions change yearly and vary depending on the type of hotel or activity that is booked. MainStreet currently books at the Platinum Level of commissions.

You can view the exact commission on any existing booking by clicking on the TAAP Menu – Reports, and then search by date or itinerary number. Click the link below to go directly to that search page.

If you need support with an Expedia Booking we recommend following these steps:

  1. Contact Virtual Agent to help resolve any issues. If they cannot or need time to complete a request be sure to get a case number.
  2. Reach out to the TAAP Support Line with your case number.
  3. If the Support Line cannot help then reach out to our BDM Lynn Winfield with your case number.

Sometimes getting a case number and reaching back out to a different support agent can help resolve an issue.

Agents can earn Expedia TAAP Rewards on every booking they make for a client. Points can be redeemed for gift cards through the TAAP Rewards portal online.

Transferring vacation bookings to an agent is not available with Expedia TAAP at this time.

Agents may book the same itinerary as what the client has. After this the client may cancel their original itinerary (be sure to check cancellation policies first).
