Booking Errors

If you are receiving an error while trying to book on the DTA website, try the following:

  • Clear your browser’s cookies and cache. If you don’t know how to do this, a quick Google search with your browser’s name followed by “clear cookie and cache” will show you how to do this.
  • Try using a different browser or incognito window.
  • Reset your internet router by unplugging it for a minute and then plugging it back in.

If none of these help use this contact form to let Disney Support know what issue you’re having. We highly recommend sending screenshots of your error with your message. This helps them identify things more quickly. Also try to include what browser you were using when the error happened.

  • Complete the College of Disney Knowledge core classes
  • Complete any Updates added to core classes
  • Take and pass the annual College of Disney Knowledge Assessment Test

If you’ve “completed” all these and benefits still aren’t available, you’re missing something. The Benefits Page will tell you what you are missing by showing the course or test still needed to be complete before using Benefits.

Cruise Line Industry Association

  • Agents must have an active Individual CLIA Membership
  • Paid their annual individual membership fee to CLIA under MainStreet
  • Once paid have received access to their Digital CLIA EMBARK Card

Once both of these have been completed you can request benefits and submit the required documents to confirm the benefit(s).

How To Use Benefits

Agents who have qualified for benefits can book them on the DTA website -> Training & Benefits -> Available Benefits

It’s important to read the details of each benefit as they explain the use of them as well as how to book them.

Most benefits have a Request Benefit button that starts the steps to requesting it. Some have a Learn More button AND a Request Benefit button. In these case you’ll want to click on the Learn More button first and follow the steps to booking. Afterwards you can click Request Benefit to submit and confirm the benefit.

Some benefits require that you email a copy of your CLIA card and College of Disney Knowledge Certificate to them within 4-5 days of booking a benefit. These tend to be the benefits that don’t have the “Request Benefit” button.

You can send these documents to: wdw.disney.central.travel.industry.validation@disneyworld.com

To download a copy of your College of Disney Knowledge Certificate you can follow these steps:

  1. Load the College of Disney Knowledge page.
  2. Click on the World Icon that has a Mickey shape in it.
  3. Click the Expand Arrow next to 202* College of Disney Knowledge Assessment.
  4. Scroll down just a bit until you see the PRINT CERTIFICATE button.
  5. Click this and print your certificate.

Ticket Details

The Travel Agent benefit ticket is valid for 1 free Park Hopper Plus Ticket for 1 day OR a 50% off multi-day Park Hopper Plus ticket.

  • The ticket must be used by the Travel Agent. The ticket may not be used by anyone else.
  • Once the ticket has been purchased or received the agent may make park reservations if necessary.
  • If no park reservations are required than the ticket may be used at anytime except for any listed blackout dates or the expiration.

Canceling or Modifying a Benefit

We don’t recommend canceling a benefit, particularly hotel rooms, as it can be very difficult to receive the benefit back for another use. We do recommend modifying it to different dates if possible.

To modify or cancel a resort hotel benefit you’ll need to call the TA line associated with the resort you booked at (Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort).

  • Walt Disney World Resort – 1-800-327-2996
  • Disneyland Resort – 1-800-854-3104

If you had to cancel you’ll need to reach out to the benefits department via email to let them know and ask for your benefit to be reinstated:

wdw.disney.central.travel.industry.validation@disneyworld.com

Benefit Rules

Agents must follow the benefit rules listed below and from the suppliers website to continue to use benefits. Violations = Loss of Benefits.

  1. Follow all rules and stipulations given by the supplier for any benefit.
  2. Benefits are only for agent use and in some cases the agent and their immediate family. Never give a benefit to someone else for use. This is monitored through all MDE accounts.
  3. When requesting a benefit over the phone you should be kind and professional at all times and follow any instructions given. Do not argue or complain about a rule.
  4. MainStreet cannot fix or replace a lost benefit. If you fail to submit proper documentation on-time you will need to start over. In these cases your particular room type/dates may no longer be available. There is nothing we can do.
  5. If you need to cancel a benefit for any reason, be sure to read the benefit instructions before proceeding as cancelling may result in a total loss of that benefit. In most cases changes should be made instead of a full cancellation.
  6. Do not post or ask benefit questions in our Facebook Group or any other public form. You should reach out to MainStreet directly.

Adding a Dining Plan to a Benefit Room:

Once The Special Travel Agent Rate is confirmed and validated, you will receive an approval email from the system. Once you receive that email, you can call (800) 327-2996 to make modifications (add the dining plan) based upon availability on your existing reservation.
