CLIA Approvals

We know CLIA approvals have been taking a little bit of time. This is because we have tightened our review process regardingour standards for receiving CLIA memberships. From time to time we will update our agency policies, but always make them accessible any time you need to access a supplier or benefit. We do not require booking minimums in order to be an agent with MainStreet, but our suppliers are cracking down on agents who only use benefits and never book anything. Therefore, we need to crack down on that behavior as well.

DTA Missing Bookings

We are very aware that there’s some tech issues going on right now with DTA and DCLbookings not appearing in the reservation center. Please be aware that your DCL bookings are unimpacted, just harder to access. We have been working very closely with Disney to try and get everything situated. Because we now have an IATA membership our account with DTA change slightly, but had an impact on reservation showing in their system. Again, your bookings were not impacted.

Please watch the video below so you can update your DTA account. Please follow the directions carefully. The agency IATA number is: 46619005. You MUST use the agency’s IATA number- not your own.

This is a very important time to remember how crucial it is to keep records of your bookings with confirmation numbers. If you do not have a spreadsheet please use the one we’re providing in our Agent Resources on MSTAgents.com site.

MainStreet Travel’s Annual Refresher Course (ARC)

You may have noticed we’ve mentioned an Annual Refresher Course is coming. Starting 12/1 we will have a training course available for all agents. This refresher course will cover updates that have happened throughout the year, important information you may have missed, and a clear understanding of expectations. This course will be required for all agents. Starting 12/1 all IATA and CLIA membership requests will not be approved until this course has been completed.

The Disney Treasure Ship Tour Review

The Disney Treasure color scheme, especially in the staterooms, does seem to follow a more serene and light palette, which helps create a relaxing atmosphere. The subtle pastel tones with pops of color offer a refreshing contrast to the more traditional, bolder color schemes seen on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. It’s nice that they blended lightness and vibrancy in a balanced way, creating a modern yet timeless feel throughout the ship.

The Plaza de Coco area is such a great touch, especially for fans of Coco, (me) as it brings the vibrant spirit of the movie to life. The way the design highlights key elements from the film, it was perfect.  Getting a preview of A Tale of Moana was incredible.  The cast was amazing.   As for 1923, the old Hollywood ambiance and It’s great how Disney combines nostalgia with contemporary flair across the ship. 

The staterooms on the Disney Treasure seem to offer a great amount of space and comfort, especially with the standout features in the Concierge rooms. The bathrooms, in particular, are a real upgrade and definitely not your typical cruise bathrooms. Disney’s inclusion of bathtubs in the staterooms is a unique touch, especially since it’s not commonly seen on other cruise lines. It’s a great option for families or anyone who prefers a bath over a shower. 

The Haunted Mansion Parlor, Scat Cat Lounge, and Periscope Pub are definitely must-see spots on the Disney Treasure!

Overall, for me, it’s definitely on my list.  Being able to see it was AWESOME.  I was able to share my personal view with my family and friends and let’s just say, they are asking when we are going.
